Literally Mary Mac's is the absolute best restaurant i've ever eaten. I eat there everytime i'm in Atlanta. The tomato pie is to live for! Submitted By: Len

My grandmother Ginny Bartlett worked @ Mary Mac's for most of the 70's and on into the 90's. She loved that job and the people there. My favorite memories of the food are definatley when my mother would bring us to pick up our "Thanksgiving or Christmas Dinner". We would get the grand tour and as many cinnamon rolls as we wanted. Mrs. Lupo was always very kind and welcoming and appreciated the excitement we kids brought into that kitchen a few times a year. my Gramps is gone now and we miss her dearly. Never a day goes by that i dont think about Mary mac's because I think of my Gramps always. Submitted By: Angie Creel

I have great memories of dining at Mary Mac's with my dad back in the 80's. Can't wait to share the experience with my daughter. Submitted By: Nora

Mary Mac's was the very first dining experience my wife and I ~ a pair of Minnesota Norskis ~ ever had in Atlanta early December, 2010. I cannot remember the name of our waitress, but she was terrific. She kept calling us "Precious", and was as attentive and friendly as could be. The food was likewise terrific, deliciously authentic and plentiful. Our first dining experience in Atlanta truly gave us the impression of what Southern hospitality is all about. We hope to have an opportunity to return and indulge again! Submitted By: Kevin and Greta

We enjoyed a wonderful graduation day family luncheon at Mary Mac's. Everything about our experience made a terrific day even more memorable. We were lavished with good service, enjoyed delicious food, and were afforded plenty of time to savor the day. Our waiter was kind to snap some group photos for us - pictures and memories we'll treasure. Thank you! Submitted By: GA Tech mom

My family and I were visiting from Columbus, Ga and tried Mary Mac's for the first time. Southern food is my absolute favorite and everything I tried was the best of it's kind! Connie was our server and she was the definition of 'Southern Hospitality'. Not only did we rave to everyone at home, we will eat at Mary Mac's every time we come up! I used to eat at a Mary Mac's style place in Buckhead called the Feedmill on Paces ferrry near Peachtree. I was young, like 15 and i took a liking to this waitress named Marion. She would always give me the fried chicken dinner with a extra...... breast without the $1 up charge. When i was 24, the Feedmill closed much to my consternation. I had eaten ...Mary Mac's and loved their food since then but not as often since they weer downtown. One day, when i was about 29, i was seated and this waitress came over and BAM! it was Marion! I couldnt beleive it! So, now i am a sucessful lawyer, I help her out for helping me out when i was younger... Shes as great as is the food at MM's. Marion will NOT let you run out of sweet tea and is always sooooo nice and sweet as the tea! Jeffrey Chester Submitted By: Jeff Chester

My mother would take us to Mary Mac's when we were just children. My brother is an epileptic and his doctors were at the Crippled Childrens Clinic in Atlanta. I must admit, it had been some time since my last visit when I took my husband there 2 years ago. The food was just as wonderful and I remember and it is truely and experience to be had. We visited 9/12/10 for my first time, and were immediately greeted at our table by a beautiful and enthusiastic smile. As I waited, a positive and upbeat server satisfied all of our needs, providing keen insight on the history and menu of Mary Mac's. The rich history and indelible mark of the restaurant are perfectly complimented by their remarkably authentic gourmet Southern cuisine and the irreplaceable wait staff like Nicole.
