Our favorite part of the visit was the interaction with the Goodwill Ambassador (Jo Carter). How long has she held that role? Submitted By: Earl Wallis

Greetings! I visited your restaurant on 12/2/09 after not having visited for some time. Koodos to your chef and cooks for preparing such a wonderful meal. Not only was the meal tasty, but also nutritious (grilled). Thanks. Submitted By: M. Apomah

My husband and I had our first meal at Mary Mac's this weekend. It was recommended by the concierge at our hotel. We absolutely loved it! We are from Savannah and visit Atlanta 3-4 times per year. We are already looking forward to returning on our next trip. Submitted By: Shay Scott

I had my first experience with Mary Mac's 3 years ago-and it has become one of my top 3 favorite restaurants..From the yeast rolls to the fresh veggies and my favorite entrees(fried chicken tenders, country-fried steak, fried oysters), there is nothing that the talented kitchen staff doesn't master! And not to mention the attentive waitstaff. You cannot forget the face of Mary Mac's- Ms. Jo (Carter) and her wonderful backrubs. This past Sunday I had luncheon there and was pleasantly surprised to see the security officer at the corner-way to go!!!! I recommend Mary Mac's to anyone looking for some great-tasting, down-home comfort food at a great price. Submitted By: Roderick Meadows

Every meal is wonderful and the service is topnotch. It's becoming a new family tradition, and we all look forward to eating more than we can hold and enjoying the leftovers too! Submitted By: Kathy Cowan

When my wife and I came back to Atlanta to visit recently, we made a stop in here for a wonderful Sunday meal. I heard a voice that was so familiar to me. After a few minutes, I recalled the voice of a wonderful lady from my days working near the Luckie Street Grill. It was Ms. Jo Carter who was greeting everyone in her charming way making each table feel welcome. She finally came to our table and I told her who I was and she remembered me from the the late 1980's. We had a wonderful time reminiscing about those days when she served me in the Grill and I treated her for her back. It was a great addition to a wonderful meal and my wife and I look forward to our next opportunity to visit Mary Mac's. Thank you. Submitted By: Dr. Jeffry Smith

After missing out last year we finally got the chance to have a meal at your restaurant. I've eaten in some of the best restaurants in New York and the surrounding area. None of them hold a candle to the meals I ate at Mary Mac's. Between the chicken livers, bbq ribs, fried okra and mac and cheese I couldn't decide what I liked best. Actually...I take that back. I am going to spend the next year trying to reproduce your yeast rolls. I will most likely fail, but it will keep me busy until next September when I can return to the incredible southern hospitality and even more incredible southern cooking I encountered this weekend. Thank you so much for ruining every meal I will eat between now and Labor Day Weekend 2010! Do you deliver to NYC? Submitted By: Mike Coven

Let's put it this way - I have been talking about Mary Mac's Tea Room since I first experienced it last August while down on conference. I am returning again in a few weeks and plan to spend at least lunch or dinner for my 4 day stay just to try all the sides! The food and service is absolutely superb! I ate there twice last visit for a 3-day conference. I just love 'em! Thank you for the 'southern hospitality!' Submitted By: evelyn

My family and I recently visited Atlanta for the first time and enjoyed our stay in your beautiful city. One of our highlights was our stop to Mary Mac's which was highly recommended by several local people. The food was incredible and so was the service. Our waitress Charlotte was incredibly sweet and brought a foreign dish called pot licker which we all fell in love with. Next time we come into Atlanta we will stopping in again. OMG! I can not believe I have been living in Atlanta since 1995 and never ate here. OMG! It is the best food in Atlanta. Challenge me, if you like. I just had my first taste of Atlanta's ***** dining. I ordered a take out meal and I could not believe the promptness, neatness, and undeniable tasteful, delectible meal. OMG! I live 2 mininutes from Mary Mac's and I had been trying to find a place that serves the selections that I can cook myself, but not wanting to. Now, the song Ms. Mary Mac all dress in black is the sound of music to my stomach. Um Um Um! This is now the place I will bring my family for many events that we share. Thank you, so much for superb food. I am so pleased, I can't say enough. Just now this is not the last time that I will partake with a taste of heavenly food. OH YEAH!!
