Delicious! I mean just Delicious. The meals at Mary Mac are just....what my mother would order. My experience at Mary Mac was incredible. The southern hospitality received from the staff was well appreciated with the warm backrub to top-off the magnificent home cook African American cuisine enjoy by all. After a long day.... one can eat and relax then… let the staff serve you a home cook meal. Yes, I love Mary Mac. The southern fried fish, peach cobbler, banana pudding, and home made fried chicken, potatoes salads, moist macaroni and cheese... oh yes!! Fresh cranberry juice... just to name a few dishes. While we wait for the above food, we were served warm rolls and mouthwatering sweet cinnamon rolls made fresh from the kitchen. My family and I just talk about the food for days. hold on there is more, the prices is just right for today's economy. You have to visit this place and see for yourself! This restaurant would standout if in a new location. I though this was a tea house.

I took my mother-in-law to eat here on her first trip to the "Big City" and was more than pleased! We could not have had better food, and the "Table Wine of the South" was TO DIE FOR! Couldn't have asked for better service and a table-stop visit by the Goodwill Ambassador--what a nice touch. Mary Mac's offers a true taste of the South: great southern cooking and hospitality at it's best. This will definitely be a required stop anytime we are in Atlanta. Thank you for the memory! I came to Mary Macs for Easter Dinner and was pleased to see security outside the building. In the past, when coming to the area, you run the risk of being harassed by panhandlers. Sunday, the food was spectacular and the streets were clear.

On March 28, 2009 we celebrated our father's 85th birthday at Mary Mac's Tea Room. We had a party of 40 including children. We cannot say enough about the service and the food. We dined royally and was served with a smiled. THANK YOU LAEL (our server) for all your exemplary customer service, suggestion and any assistance we needed. Right off the plane this last week, my brother John and his wife Susan took me directly to Mary Mac's. What an intro to the South! Ultra sweet waitress (sorry, did not catch her name), fantastic meal...had fried chicken, fried green tomoatoes and sweet potatoes with iced tea. Will never go to Atlanta again without making it my first stop on every trip! Thank you so much...LOVED your restaurant...Oh, and was so impressed that Richard Gere and the Dali Lhama ate there also...they said the Dali Lhama ate the vegetable plate! I first came to Mary Mac's when I was little with my Grandmother and my Mom. I went back a few weeks ago and the food was still as good, maybe even better!! If you ever get a chance to experience this restaurant you should. It is wonderful. Submitted By: Jennifer Young

I LOVE MARY MAC'S! The first time our party was actually going to the Spaghetti Factory but it was closed. Imagine my surprise that Mary Mac's was basically across the street...so many people had told me about the awesome food, so I suggested it to my friends (who are from Buffalo, NY) they loved the southern food (who wouldn't). I wanted to let you know how much my guests and I enjoyed our dinner at Mary Mac's tearoom. Your staff was incredible and really made the event. Tanner and Ray were incredibly helpful and did a great job of making sure that my guests were served promptly. The food was delicious- a perfect southern meal! I just had to write once more and say a big Thank YOu for taking such good care of us last Thursday when our adult couples were there for "Date Night." We had around 37 couples (74 adults) and I was amazedat how wonderfully and efficiently we were taken care of. Everybody loved the food and the atmosphere. Mary mac's was a big hit. The shower was ahuge success, and we really wanted to say THANK YOU for helping to make it that way! Laura, our server, worked very hard and made sure that everyone was taken care of. We really enjoyed her and she did a great job. Otherwise, Mike (the GM) and other staff were close by to offer help. The food was DELICIOUS!! Thanks so much for helping make our event special.
